About	Green Bay Community House is the heart of Green Bay. We aim to provide an exceptional space that we share with our community. Fantail room is a small lounge style room that is suitable for regular groups, classes, activities, clinics, consultations, meetings, AGM's, workshops or training .
The Space	Fantail room is cozy, private and welcoming. The soft furnishings and carpeted flooring make it cozy and inviting. There is a heat pump to offer all year comfort by heating or cooling.  There is access to the commercial grade kitchen, via the main hallway. The kitchen is fully equipped with a brand new oven and dishwasher, along with a microwave, zip and fridge freezer. We also have crockery, cutlery and serveware available to our hirers. Please note there may be other events on in the hall at the time of your booking.
Included with the space hire is: ​	4 x couches  8 stackable chairs 4 x plastic trestle tables 1.8 m  long  x 75cm  wide x 76cm high 1 Whiteboard Access and use of the kitchen​ Tea and coffee
Extras	Wifi available for a $5 flat rate Projector available on request ($15 + $40 bond)
Vital Stats	The Fantail room is suitable for a maximum of 30 guests Room dimensions are: 7m x 7m There are approximately 4 power points. Bring your own extension leads.
Food  & Alcohol	The Fantail room has access to the kitchen via the main hallway You're welcome to use the kitchen for self catering your event or with external caterers. Included in the kitchen there are two sinks, hot water zip, fridge / freezer, oven and stove top, microwave and dishwasher. We have cutlery, glassware, crockery and cooking and serving equipment available ​We are an alcohol free venue  *Please note that the kitchen is a shared space for all users.
Cleaning	Cleaning equipment is provided. You are expected to leave the venue as  you found it. Cleaning and pack up time must be included within your booking, as there may be groups using the space after your allocated time slot. Please ensure you and book enough time to clean it after your event. All rubbish must be removed from the facility.
​Location	The Community House is located behind Green Bay New world. There are a variety of shops, including a cafe, supermarket, bakery, dairy, bookshop, florist takeaway, and  public transport options are available. We are also adjacent to the Barron Green playgound.
Accessibility	The Fantail room and deck have wheelchair access and there is a wheelchair accessible toilet in the main hallway. We also have a disabled parking space.  There is a baby changing table within the disabled toilet, but please take nappies away with you.
Parking	There are 12 free private car parking spaces, that are first come first serve to all our users. Residential street parking is available within a short walk of the centre.  We are on the 195 bus route that connects Green Bay to New Lynn or the CBD.
Booking	There is a minimum booking of 1 hour on weekends or week days.  ​Casual hire / one off bookings are  required to pay a $100 bond, and payment for hire before the event takes place.
​Regular Hirers	The Fantail room has slots available for regular hire. Email or call us to discuss what you need.  We’ll help to promote your activity via our social media channels, brochure, network connections and via the community notice board on Godley Road. ​Regular hire bookings will be invoiced monthly, and a key bond of $50 is required
Keys	You will need to collect a hall key from the office in the week prior to your booking  or we can arrange for it to be left in our lockbox .  The office hours are 9am - 2pm Monday to Friday. Keys will only be issued if the payment is processed
Rules	No alcohol No smoking or vaping If you set off the fire alarm, there may be a fine if the fire service are called No sellotape push-pins, tacks or nails to be used on the wooden walls No Bluetack on the hessian walls, but you can use Blutack on the wooden walls Please remove any decorations at the end of your session Please take all rubbish with you This room is for meetings and classes only and is not available for separate party hire
